Edge is a range of modern double-cut bass guitars with solid bodies, full-length 34" scales, high quality hardware and affordable price tags. This series was designed to be Dean`s response to the countless cheap basses made by Japanese brands (Yamaha, aria, Ibanez, ESP) and it is expected to offer the genuine American quality at a reasonable price. Edge Pro is the top tier of this series and Edge Pro 4 is it`s only four-string model. Modern double-cut body features neck-through construction and it`s made of basswood wings with maple/walnut neck in the center. Flamed maple cap is installed on the top. Two active humbuckers and gold-plated bridge are installed on the top. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is featured on it`s top.
