Alvarez`s Cadiz series offers a line of six classical and flamenco guitars. All models are six-stringed and made with a little bit longer scales. The reason to switch the traditional 25.6" for 26" length was, in the words of Alvarez`s luthiers, to put a bit more tension on the strings and create a stronger tone. Alvarez models also feature asymmetric fan bracing with treble bar. CC7HCEAR is one of the currently available models. It comes with dark walnut back & sides, solid A+ grade Sitka spruce top, traditional 12th fret Spanish heel joint, and LR Baggs electronics (StagePro EQ and Element pickup). Natural Gloss is the only available color option. Other notable features include a solid mahogany/ebony/mahogany neck, 19-fret fingerboard made of pau ferro or rosewood, classical bridge, and classical tuners.
