GS8 is the top six stringer of the GS series. This series features exclusively steel-stringed guitars with grand symphony bodies. Though it`s name says grand, this body shape is actually a small one. It is perfect for players who find dreadnoughts and jumbos too big, but still do not want to sacrifice too much of their strength and tone. GS8 features a non-cutaway body with natural color. It is finished in high gloss and equipped with a set of gold plated tuners made by Taylor. Body on this model is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce top. In the bridge section, Taylor installs an ebony bridge made with belly shape. Mahogany neck is attached to the body with a regular dovetail joint and topped with 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
