Taylor`s GS Mini series offers fully acoustic guitars, which are aimed at people on the move and musicians who travel a lot. These are perfect for playing around a camp fire or at crowded places. With scale of 23-1/2" these mini Grand Symphonies give almost as much tone and volume as full-sized 25-1/2" scaled guitars. This particular GS Mini mahogany is introduced for the fall of 2012. It comes with a non-cutaway mini GS body made of sapele and mahogany. Sapele is used for the back and side panels, while the mahogany is on the top. Top panel is decorated with black binding, tortoise shell pickguard and single circle rosette made of plastic. This model is available in natural color with varnish finish on the top. Vintage theme of this Mini is completed with a set of six chrome-plated die-cast tuning machines installed on the headstock. Bridge is made of ebony and it sports Taylor`s standard modern contour. Sapele is used once more for the neck. Neck is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint and the headstock is attached to the neck with a scarf joint. Ebony fingerboard on the top is equipped with 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1-11/16" wide NuBone string nut. The MSRP for this model is set at $678.
