GC-K is a model from the Koa series of acoustic guitars made by Taylor Guitars. GC-K features a grand concert shaped body with non-cutaway design. Construction-wise, this one is fully acoustic, though optionally, Taylor installs Expression system under the "hood" of this model. Also, it features dovetail neck joint, 24-7/8" scale, gold plated Taylor tuning machines and abalone decorations around the top and sound hole. Natural color option is the only one available and it comes with high gloss finish. Back and side panels of the body are made of koa, while the top comes with two variants, spruce and koa sound boards are both available. Ebony is the material of choice for both the bridge and 20-fret fingerboard. Neck on this model is made of mahogany.
