GC series from Taylor Guitars is situated within the acoustic section of the catalog and it offers grand concert-shaped guitars with no electronics installed on them. GC7 is among the leading models of the series and it comes with a concert body with non-cutaway design. This one comes in natural color with a combination of satin finish on the back and sides, and gloss on the top. Scale of all models in this series measures 24-7/8" and GC7 also features gold plated Taylor tuners. Back and side panels of the body are made of rosewood, while the top is made of cedar. Bridge section features a standard belly-shaped ebony bridge. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
