BR-263 is the intermediate model for the Prewar series, but it certainly is not an intermediate guitar. With a price tag of $2,595 it comes with rich tone wood construction and elegant styling. For this kind of money players expect to get a full package and Blueridge`s delivery on this model does not fail. Tone woods used for this model are rosewood, spruce, mahogany and ebony. Rosewood, of course, comprises the back and side panels of the body and it`s covered with a sound board made of spruce. Mahogany is found only on the one-piece neck, while the ebony is used for both the bridge and fingerboard. Ivoroid binding, tortoise pickguard, abalone fret inlays and nickel-plated hardware on the headstock complete the specs list.
