BR-143 from the Historic series is a 000 model guitar with non-cutaway design and fully acoustic construction. It has a body made of mahogany and spruce. Mahogany is used for the back and side panels of the body, while the top is made of spruce. This arrangement is one of the best for the steel-stringed acoustics. This body is then paired with a neck, which is also made of mahogany. One-piece neck is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint and it sports a low profile contour in the back. This model comes only in natural color with high gloss finish. Bridge adn fingerboard are matched, both are made of rosewood. Fingerboard sports 20 frets, dot inlays and 1-11/16" bone nut.
