Classic series is dedicated to acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made with dreadnought and orchestra body shapes. Structure of the series is as follows: models labeled with 06 and 07 marks are basic and entry level models, 16 and 17 are intermediate guitars and 26 and 27 are top self options. RD-26 is thus one of the premier dreads from the Classic Series and it is a non-cutaway guitar with no electronics installed. It is made of mahogany, spruce and rosewood. mahogany is used for back and side panels with spruce sound board on top. Neck is made of mahogany, as well and it features C contour. It is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Rosewood is also used for the regular-shaped bridge. Tuning machines are plated in chrome.
