Century 606 is a 000-sized model from the Century series made by Recording King. This model comes with a body made entirely of mahogany. Mahogany is the most available, affordable and also a high quality material for this kind of bodies. Other common materials for single-wood construction are maple, walnut and sapele. In combination with V-contoured mahogany neck, this model has exceptionally strong low end and powerful tone projection, exceeding the expectations for this small model. Top panel is decorated with ivoroid binding and vintage styled rosette. Nickel hardware and satin nitrocellulose finish complete the vintage theme. Bridge section is equipped with a regular-shaped ebony bridge. Neck is made of a single piece of wood and it`s topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Hardware on this model is plated in nickel.
