Standard series from Martin Guitars offers high quality instruments with slightly vintage-styled aesthetics. Traditional looks, solid wood construction and supreme tone quality are the hallmarks of this series. D12-28 is a 12-stringed dreadnought with fully acoustic construction. It`s body is made of high grade rosewood and spruce. Rosewood is used for the back and side panels and spruce is found on top as the sound board. Top panel is equipped with standard ivoroid binding, black plastic pickguard and multiple rosette. There are no electronics installed on this twelve-stringer. Bridge is made of ebony and it sports a bone saddle. Neck on this model is made of hardwood and it`s equipped with low profile contour in the back. It is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
