Gypsy Spalt is a model from Luna`s Gypsy series of acoustic and acoustic-electric series guitars. Spalt is equipped with a very nice spalted maple sound board on the top of the body. It is one of the most interesting looking tone woods in the industry. On Gypsy Spalt, it`s left in it`s own natural color, which is the case on almost every guitar or bass with spalted maple top. Only black binding is assigned as the decoration for this top panel. There is no rosette around the sound hole, nor pickguard. Bridge section sports a modern-shaped bridge made of rosewood. Hardware is plated in chrome. Neck on this model is a standard one and it`s made of mahogany. 20-fret fingerboard sports a set of moon-phase inlays.

This is a fantastic guitar. The one I have looks like it has angel wings on both sides of the sound board. I can't believe how cool this guitar looks! It needed a little truss adjustment but after that the action was perfect. The sustain is amazing as well as the sound. I'm extremely happy with it and can hardly put it down. I've been playing it for hours already. I have some very expensive guitars and wanted a guitar to take with me while on the road or vacation. I found this one and snapped it right up. Outstanding job Luna. The fit and finish is superb.
