AEG series offers modern, well made acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. They all sport shallower bodies, contemporary construction features, as well as advanced electronics (the amplified models). Also, a vast majority of them are also available in left-hand options. The new 2018 lineup features only one update - the new version of the popular AEG1812II. The single-cut twelve-stringer comes only in Dark Violin Sunburst (w/high gloss finish, chrome-plated hardware, multi-layered binding, white plastics). Core construction appointments include a single-cut AEG body (shallow contour, sapele back/sides, spruce top, abalone rosette), a mahogany neck (AEG profile, 14th fret dovetail joint, satin finish), a 21-fret New Zealand pine fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.77" nut, 24.96" scale), an ovangkol bridge, combined Fishman/Ibanez electronics, and die-cast tuners.
