Hohner also makes classical guitars for kids. DN48 is a model from the Kids series and it delivers a 19" scaled classical guitar with all the specs and appointments of a regular nylon-stringer. This model is available in natural color with satin finish. Combination of chrome-plated tuning pegs, black binding around the sound board and classically-styled rosette give this model a quite serious and grown-up look. DN48 is a fully acoustic instrument and features no pickups or preamps installed. Body of this model is made entirely of agathis. In the bridge section, Hohner installs a regular-shaped bridge made of rosewood. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint set at the 12th fret. It is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 18 frets.
