Roots Collection offers a range of folk/bluegrass/country-oriented acoustic instruments. The five segments in current production include acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and resonator. Somewhere around 45 instruments are divided among these segments, with banjo section having seven models. G9450 Dixie 5-String Open-Back Banjo is one of them. It has the longest scale of the seven models, being 27-1/2" long. Other than that, this affordable five-stringer (MSRP: $399) offers open-back construction, stock hardware, and simple styling. Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome hardware) is the only available color option. G9450 Dixie 5-String Open Back Banjo also features mahogany body, Remo Renaissance head, mahogany neck (U profile), 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (27.5" scale, 1.18" nut), maple bridge (w/ebony tip), and banjo tuners.
