CD-220 Zebrano is a brand new model in Fender`s palette of the acoustic guitars. It belongs to the Classic Design series and it comes with a single cutaway dreadnought body. Body is finished in high gloss, while the neck sports the satin lacquer on it`s back. CD-220 Zebrano is available in natural color only. To enhance the appeal of this dreadnought Fender opted to install a set of gold-plated tuners on the headstock. This body features back, side and top panels made of zebra wood, a rare feat, indeed. The sound board is bound in several layers of binding and equipped with a beautiful abalone rosette. Pickguard is omitted from the list of features, for Fender opted to accentuate the natural beauty of zebra wood grain pattern. Bridge section is equipped with a high quality belly-shaped bridge made of rosewood. It features a compensated bone saddle. In the electronics department Fender installs Fishman Presys pickup and preamp combo. Preamp is mounted onto the side of the body. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays, 12" radius and 1-5/8" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard. This model will be featured at the 2012 Summer NAMM Show.
