Dean Daytona is placed in the Tradition series of the Dean Guitars acoustic department. The series also includes Tradition 52, Tradition AK48 and V wing. Daytona is a non-cutaway dreadnought steel stringer placed at the entry level and aimed at the beginners. Daytona starts with a top made of solid spruce and mahogany back and sides. It is available in natural gloss finish with a flat and multi-ply bound top. The bridge is made of rosewood with white pins and standard Dean triangular shape. Mahogany neck has a set-in joint and a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and pearl dot position inlays. The scale is 25-1/2" long and the nut is 1-5/8" wide. This model is equipped with chrome plated die-cast tuners. The MSRP is set at $297.50.
