Andy Elite is a scaled-down archtop jazz guitar. It kicks off fully acoustic, but if ordered, it can be transformed into a hollow-bodied electric. This is by far the smallest of the hollow-bodied guitars made by Benedetto Guitars, it features 12" body width with 3" body depth. Andy also features 23" scale length. It is available in Violin Burst color with nitrocellulose gloss finish. This vibrant color scheme is contrasted with black hardware and ebony parts. Body of this model is made of flamed maple back and sides, while the top is made of spruce. Top is arched and carved with two "f" holes. Also, it features an elevated pickguard made of ebony. There is no binding applied around the edges of the sound board. Bridge section features adjustable ebony bridge with ebony-made trapezoid tailpiece. In the electronics department, Benedetto can optionally install a mini humbucker pickup and control knobs, though Andy Elite is primarily envisioned as fully acoustic jazz guitar. Neck on this model is made of flamed maple and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, custom abalone inlay at the 12th fret, 12" radius and 1-11/16" wide string nut complete the fingerboard. Price for Andy Elite is set at $12,000.
