Roby Duke I is one of two Roby Duke signature models made by Avalon Guitars. The other is dubbed Roby Duke II. Along with them, the current Anthem Series` lineup also contains one Jan Akkerman model.
The first Roby Duke model comes in with a single-cut and flat-top body, a pretty steep basic price ($5,990) and combined modern/vintage construction and design. The body of this exclusive signature is made of mahogany back and sides and cedar soundboard. Pear wood binding graces the top and back edges. The neck is made of mahogany and it features a 20-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Both right and left-hand variants cost the same. Other major features include an ebony bridge, AXE bracing and gold-plated tuners. Players can also order the artist case, as well as one of several electronics options.
