D24 is one of several dreadnought guitars made by Australian Ashton Guitars. It is an affordable, lower intermediate class steel-stringer, with fully acoustic construction, modern/vintage looks and a wide palette of color options (Black, Natural, Blue, Red and Tobacco Sunburst). D24 starts off with a non-cutaway dreadnought body, made of okume back and sides and a spruce sound board. Of course, all of the body panels are laminated. Creme binding, tortoise pickguard and simple rosette decorate the top. The neck is made of mahogany and it features a regular 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on its top. Just like the beginner D20, D24 has no electronics installed on or inside the body. Other major features include an adjustable truss rod, fixed rosewood bridge and die-cast tuning machines.
