The NTX500 is fantastic guitar for the money. I purchased this guitar because I wanted to start learning to play Flamenco guitar. I was amazed how how good this guitar sounded when played through my acoustic amp (it sounds really god when its not plugged in too). The neck is very playable and the thinner body style makes it very easy to hold. The only issue I had with this guitar is that out of the box, the action is was to high. To Yamaha's defense, even the Martin acoustic guitar I purchased a while back had to have the action lowered. I recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a high quality, inexpensive, classical guitar.
