Yamaha`s F Series models are made to be inexpensive and solid quality options for beginning players. The line currently consists of non-cutaway dreadnought models. The FD01S is also a non-cutaway dreadnought model made of spruce top and nato back and sides. It is available in natural gloss with natural top binding. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood and features a belly shape, white pins and white plastic saddle. The neck is made of nato and has a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. The fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood and is equipped with 20 frets, white dot position inlays and 1.69" wide synthetic bone nut. Being a starter model, FD01S features no pickups or preamp. The MSRP is set at $359.99.
