APX700-12 is the only twelve-stringer from the APX series situated in the acoustic-electric section of Yamaha`s catalog. It comes with a grand auditorium body with single cutaway design. The only color option for this model is natural, and it comes with high gloss finish. Back and side panels are made of nato, and are combined with spruce top. Modern single circle rosette is accompanied by several layers of matching binding around the top. Pickguard is omitted from the specs list on this model. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a standard Yamaha shape. electronics department on this model includes under-saddle piezo pickup and System56 1way A.R.T. preamp. Neck is made of nato wood and it is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
