Yamaha`s A series now contains three tiers - 1, 3, and 5 - with tier 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Tier 5 currently has four models, two dreads and two concert models (both sections are made up of a rosewood and a mahogany-based model). Also, all four models feature Yamaha`s famous A.R.E body top treatment, as well as SYSTEM71 electronics. A5M ARE`s main features include a single-cut dreadnought body (mahogany back/sides, creme binding, tortoise pickguard, two-piece Sitka spruce top), 25-9/16" scale, 14th fret dovetail joint, and chrome-plated hardware. The MSRP is set at $2,200.00. Other notable features include a five-piece mahogany/rosewood neck, 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony, ebony bridge, and Gotoh open-gear tuners.
