WD30SCE is an acoustic-electric variant of the WD30S, and these two have many features in common. WD30SCE is a dreadnought shaped steel-stringer with single cutaway design. It comes in natural color with satin finish upon it. Back and side panels on WD30SCE are made of ash and are combined with a soundboard made of spruce. Top is bound in several layers of binding and equipped with a triple circle rosette around the sound hole. In the bridge section Washburn installs a belly shaped bridge made of rosewood. Electronics on this model include under-saddle pickup in combination with a Fishman Isys preamp with tuner. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. Rosewood-made fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets with dot position inlays. Hardware is gold plated and scale measures standard 25-1/2" in length.
