Alongside the massive section of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars, Washburn also maintains a sizable folk instrument section. Washburn`s banjos are situated within one series and B17 is among it`s top models. This banjo comes with a standard shaped body and the back panel made of maple. The top on this model is encircled with gold-plated brackets and arm rest. The bridge is made of rosewood and it`s paired with a gold-plated trapezoid tailpiece. Neck is set and made of maple. It is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets, flower pot position inlays and synthetic bone nut wrap the fingerboard for this five-stringer.
