They come from Lilan, a small town near Langfang. 2012 brought several changes to the Walden catalog and one of them is G700CE. This model belongs to the 700 Series in the Natura line of steel-stringed guitars. G700CE comes in a grand auditorium cutaway shape with a body made of solid rosewood back and sides and solid Sitka spruce top. The top is bound in ivoroid and black binding. It also features a tortoise shell pickguard and abalone rosette. G700CE comes in natural color with gloss finish. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood and is equipped with belly shape, white string pins and white fossalite saddle. Electronics department is occupied by B-Band T35 preamp with an under-saddle pickup. The preamp has a side-mounted control panel. The neck on G700CE is made of mahogany and is connected to the body with a dovetail joint placed at the standard 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and it sports 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1-11/16" wide fossalite string nut. The MSRP for this model is set at $879.
