As one of China`s premier manufacturers Walden has a well built reputation in the world of guitars. Their primary focus is set on steel and nylon stringed acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Their catalog is divided into two major categories: Steel String and Nylon String. CO550 comes from the Concorda`s 500 series in the Steel String part of the catalog. It kicks off with a non-cutaway orchestra body made of mahogany back and sides and spruce top. The top is bound in black and features a tortoise shell pickguard. The sound hole has a discreet multi circle rosette. CO550 comes in natural color. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood and equipped with belly shape, white string pins and white plastic saddle. There are no electronics installed on or within the body of this guitar, CO550 is fully acoustic model. The neck is connected to the body with a dovetail joint placed at the 14th fret. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it sports 20 frets with small white dot position inlays. This model was, along with other Walden novelties, introduced at the NAMM Show earlier this year. The MSRP for CO550 is set at $409.
