Escape series stretches both on the electric and acoustic-electric sides of the Traveler Guitars catalog. Acoustic-electric division of Escape features several models done in classic Traveler manner and Mk II Steel is no exception. It comes with LP-shaped body with compulsory central holes where tuning machines are located. It is made of alder and it features no binding, pickguard or rosette. This model comes in natural color and it is finished in satin. Satin lacquer protects the wood as well as the gloss, but it lets the wood breathe more, which results in better and more natural tone. Bridge is equipped with an under-saddle piezo pickup. Neck is made of hard rock maple and it is topped with an ebonized rosewood fingerboard with 22 dot-covered frets.
