New York Dreadnought is one of four acoustic-electric guitars launched at the NAMM 2012 by Titanic Guitars to mark 100 of the Titanic ship launch. Also, there are four electric models in limited series. This dreadnought will only be made in 100 copies, one copy for each year. As it`s name says, this model is a dreadnought, a non-cutaway one, to be precise. It is made of solid rosewood back and sides in combination with solid spruce top. The exclusive binding is made of mahogany and painted in natural lacquer to contrast the vintage sunburst color of the body. The bridge is made of ebony and features pyramid shape, black string pins and white saddle. In the electronics department, Fishman Matrix VT pickup is supported with a preamp with no body-intrusive control panel. Controls are, though positioned within the body cavity, easily accessible. The neck is made of mahogany and attached to the body at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of select ebony and sports a standard number of 20 frets with a combination of dot and diamond position inlays. Other features on this model include: 25-3/5" scale length, gloss finish, gold plated hardware and vintage styled tuners.
