Koa series of acoustic-electric guitars from Taylor has a special place within the catalog, as koa is ranked among the most exclusive exotic woods. K22ce comes with a concert-shaped body with single cutaway construction. back, sides and top on this model are made of koa. Due to koa`s outstanding beauty, Taylor opted to make this model available only in natural color with gloss finish. Bridge is made of ebony and it sports a characteristic shape for Taylor acoustics. Electronics department features the Taylor Expression System, which is a combo of an under-saddle piezo pickup and preamp made and developed by Taylor. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. The fingerboard is made of ebony, and it comes with 20 frets, custom position inlays and 1.75" wide TUSQ nut.
