Every Spring and Autumn Taylor luthiers come up with renewed and refreshed Limiteds series. For 2011 Fall edition, a series of guitars made of koa was included. One of the models from this series was GS-LTD, a beautiful grand symphony guitar with single cutaway design. Most prominent features on this model are bound koa top, koa/boxwood twist inlay and gold plated hardware. It is all wrapped up in magnificent gloss finish. As the name of the series suggests, entire body of this model is made of Hawaiian koa and combined with a tropical mahogany neck. Electronics section features Taylor Expression system preamp. Fingerboard is made of ebony, which is a standard for Taylor`s guitars. 20 frets, 15" radius and 1.75" wide TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard.
