Taylor`s 814ce is a grand auditorium model with a Venetian cutaway. The body of this model is made of solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides. This model comes in a natural gloss with figured maple binding around the top and back. Also, honey and tobacco sunburst top options are available. The neck on this model is made of tropical American mahogany with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony with 20 frets, Pearl 800 position inlays, 1.75" TUSQ nut and 15" radius. The bridge on this model is made of solid ebony with a belly shape and white TUSQ saddle. Taylor Expression System with shoulder-mounted control knobs is in charge of amplification. The list price for this model is set at $4,058.
