712e 12 Fret-FLTD is a part of the brand new limited 700 series made for the fall of 2014. 700 made for the autumn of 2014 come with some exclusive features taken from the regular 800 series, as well as with exotic tonewoods choice. This is, of course, supported by the world-wide famous Taylor Expression electronics. 712 12 Fret-FLTD comes with a non-cutaway grand orchestra body with standard depth, length and width. Back and the sides are made of premium quality sassafras, while the top is made of sitka spruce. Indian rosewood binding and a super elegant rosette decorate the top panel. There are no alternative color options to natural semi-gloss with gold hardware (body is finished in gloss, while the back of the neck is finished in satin). Bridge on the top is made of ebony (brand-wide feature) and rocks the standard micarta saddle. Taylor`s own Expression system is in charge of the amplification of this exquisite six-stringer. Tropical mahogany neck is attached at the 12th fret, instead of the standard 14th and, accordingly, the ebony fingerboard is fit with 18 frets. Taylor`s own tuners grace the headstock of this short-scaled six-stringer (24-7/8"). This beautiful grand orchestra is sold for $4,178.
