Baritone is a special kind of guitar. It is a guitar with extended scale length and it`s used when regular guitar needs a stronger low end or there is a need for down tuning. Guitars are generally considered baritones starting with 27" scales. This 6-string baritone from Taylor is placed within the specialty series of acoustic-electric guitar segment of the catalog. This model sports a grand symphony body with single cutaway and Expression system electronics. Body is made of rosewood back and side panels with spruce sound board. Bridge section is a standard one, as it is equipped with a regular ebony bridge. Mahogany neck sports a dovetail joint and it`s topped with an ebony fingerboard. 19 frets, white dot inlays, 15" radius and 1.75" TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard. This six-stringer features 27" scale.
