Taylor`s standard acoustic range is made up of nine series which are numbered from 100 to 900. 100 is the most affordable one, while the 900 offers the best, most luxurious hand-made acoustics. The vast majority of the models featured throughout these series are steel-stringers, with only a handful of models sporting the nylon strings. These models are, quite naturally, aimed at steel-string players and are adjusted accordingly (narrow string nuts, standard steel-string body shapes, etc). 414ce-N is one of only two 400 series` nylon-string models. It rocks a single-cut grand auditorium body (ovangkol back/sides, Sitka spruce top), mahogany neck (w/12th fret joint), 17-fret ebony fingerboard (1.875" Tusq nut, 25.5" scale), ebony bridge, ES2 electronics, and classical tuning pegs.
