Spring 2014 brings us yet another one of Taylor`s Limited Edition lineups. This beautiful tradition has given us some of the finest steel-stringed guitars over the years and this time, with it`s Spring lineup, it brings us a marvelous 320e-Baritone SLTD. This magnificent six stringer is fit with a non-cutaway dreadnought body, instead of a grand symphony, Taylor`s favorite baritone body. This marks a shift in Taylor`s philosophy, as the big and spacious dreadnought suits the long scale a little bit better than the compact GS. Tonewoods selected for this model are sapele for the back and sides (solid) and mahogany for the sound board (also solid). These two tonewoods give a strong and warm low end without compromising the mids and trebles. Standard six-saddled ebony bridge is featured on the top. Also, a black pickguard is installed on the top. Beneath the saddle and on the side of the body, Taylor installs the second incarnation of the famous Taylor Expression System (under-saddle pickup and a side-mounted preamp). Neck is, traditionally, made of tropical mahogany and is attached with a dovetail joint. On it`s top, there`s a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Gold-plated Taylor tuners complete the specs. The MSRP for this baritone gem is set at $1,998.
