Takamine Pro series contains the best models Takamine has to offer, and TF740FS is place within it`s T series. TF740FS comes with an orchestra model body shape with single cutaway construction. It`s back and sides are made of mahogany and the top is made of cedar. The top is bound in black binding and finished in gloss lacquer over the natural color. There are no pickguards on this model. The bridge is made with the belly shape and it sports a two-piece saddle. Electronics on this model include Takamine`s own Cool Tube preamp system. Neck on this model features a dovetail joint at the 12th fret and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.875" wide string nut complete the specs.
