All four of newly introduced six-stringers cost around $4,000 and are aimed at elite series of other, primarily US manufacturers. One of four models introduced into Pro Series 7 is P7D acoustic-electric dreadnought. It comes with all-solid construction, elite electronics and premium hardware. Non-cutaway body of this model is made of solid rosewood back and solid spruce top. Maple binding and dark wood purfling decorate the top panel. Also, there`s a tortoise shell pickguard installed on the top. Double-circle rosette is found around the central sound hole. Electronics department is equipped with an under-saddle palathetic pickup and side-mounted preamp. Neck on this model is attached with a 14th fret dovetail joint. It features modern asymmetrical contour in the back and a standard 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Snow flake inlays and bone saddle complete the fingerboard. Bridge is made of rosewood. Gold-plated hardware wraps up the specs list.
