P3MC is Pro Series 3`s only orchestra model and it comes with a single cutaway body variant, as opposed to Series 1`s orchestra, which is a non-cutaway guitar. These two series are very versatile with Series 1 sporting four different body types and Series 3 five body types. Dreadnought, jumbo, NEX and orchestra in Pro Series 1 and dread, orchestra, NEX, classical and parlor in Pro Series 3. P3MC is equipped with scalloped X bracing and it`s made of sapele back and sides with cedar sound board. This model is equipped with multi-ply binding and single circle rosette on top. There is no pickguard installed. Finish is done in satin. as opposed to Series 1`s combination of gloss and satin. Bridge on P3MC is no different from bridges of other Pro Series 3 models, it`s made of rosewood and equipped with split bone saddle. Electronics on this model are comprised of Palathetic pickup and CT4B II preamp. Both of these components are made by Takamine. African mahogany is used for the neck, which is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. White dot position inlays and bone string nut complete the fingerboard. Tuners are gold plated.
