Takamine maintains two major categories within the catalog. Pro series Comes with upscale and expensive models, while the G series tends to a more budget friendly lineup of models. Within the G series a Classics line of nylon stringed guitars is found. It is the home of G128S, a non-cutaway classical guitar. Back and sides of this model are made of rosewood and the top is made of spruce. Top is finished in gloss polish and equipped with a classic rosette around the sound hole. Bridge on this nylon-stringer is made of rosewood and it sports a standard classical shape. Neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with a standard set of 19 frets with no inlays. Classical tuners with gold plating complete the specs list.
