ETN models belong to the Natural series within the Pros eries segment of Takamine catalog. These acoustic-electric guitars come with a variety of body contours, ranging from dreadnoughts to NEX and FXC contours. ETN40C in particular is an NEX with single cutaway designed body and acoustic-electric construction. Amplification tasks for this model are entrusted to Takamine`s most popular CT4B preamp, which is installed on the shoulder of the body. Body is made of sapele back and sides with cedar sound board on top. Sapele is a quality wood and cedar brings it`s best features forth. Bridge section is a standard one, as it sports a standard-shaped belly bridge made of rosewood. Fingerboard is also made of rosewood and it features 20 frets, dot inlays and 1.675" wide string nut.
