There is no pickguard on the top, it was left out in favor of better resonance. The bridge on this model is a classic Takamine appointment, rosewood bridge with belly shape, black pins and white plastic saddle. In the electronics department situation is regulated by a piezo pickup and TP4T preamp with a compact shoulder-mounted control panel. This is one of least intrusive preamp designs, and it is gaining up on popularity, as it doesn`t affect the tone and resonance of the guitar very much. The neck is made of mahogany and meets the body at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 20 frets with dot/snowflake inlays.
