Takamine is the largest Japanese manufacturer dedicated to acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Their catalog is basically split into two main categories, the Pros Series and G series. Both of them are extremely successful in their fields. Pro series offers luxurious guitars with hefty price tags, while the G series offers a wide selection of models for a common man who wants to play on a quality instrument. EG305SC belongs to the G series line of dreadnoughts. It comes with a single cutaway body made of maple back and sides with a spruce top. Bridge is made rosewood, while the electronics come with an under-saddle piezo combined with a TP4T preamp. Neck is attached to the body with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard comes with 20 frets and 1.77" wide string nut.

This is a great Guitar, I have just finished recording a cd and used it for all the rhythm tracks and it sounds so sweet. Would recommend it to anyone that wants a nice light guitar to handle, the built in tuner is also a plus.
