This model is the left handed variant of the EG340C and thus, these twwo share a bunch of common features. This lefty is one of many lefties Takamine makes to satisfy the growing and ever more demanding part of the market. This one comes with a single-cut dread contour-ed body made of mahogany and spruce. Spruce sound board is paired with mahogany back and sides. Tone and projection of this dread are unparalleled within it`s price class. Top is equipped with multi-ply binding, black pickguard and single circle rosette made of abalone. As for the amplification of it`s G models Takamine often uses the TP4T preamp, which is the case on this model. Rosewood is used for both the belly-contoured bridge and 20-fret fingerboard.
