Classics series from the G segment of Takamine catalog offers some of the very basic classics, which are the budget-friendly alternative to Classics & Hirade series from the Pro segment. They come in both the acoustic and acoustic-electric variants. 124 platform is available both with the preamp and without it, with EG124C being the single cut acoustic-electric variant. It comes with nato and spruce body. Nato wood is used for the back and side panels, while the spruce is used for the sound board. Black binding and classical rosette decorate the top panel. TP4T preamp is installed on this one. Gold-plated hardware and glossy finish are also featured on this model. Bridge is a classical one and it`s made of rosewood. 19-fret fingerboard is also made of rosewood.
