Classics & Hirade is a series of acoustic and acoustic-electric nylon-stringers from Takamine`s Pro Series. It is the only Pro Series line dedicated to the nylon-stringed side of acoustics, for Takamine is heavily based on steel-stringed guitars. With having only one series of classicals, their price tags range from affordable to high-end. EC132C is somewhere around the middle and costs $1,849.99. It comes with single cut body with acoustic-electric construction. Body is made rosewood and spruce. Rosewood on the sides and back and spruce on top. Top panel is decorated with black binding and classical rosette and electronics compartment features a shoulder-mounted CT4B preamp. Bridge section sports a standard classical rosewood bridge. Standard 19-fret fingerboard is also made of rosewood.
