Squier is a subsidiary brand of Fender and t`s primary concern are budget-friendly variants of Fender models. Within their catalog, Squier maintain a number of nylon-stringed models for players who want an affordable classical guitar. One of those models is also MC1, which comes with a standard non-cutaway shaped body. Back and sides are made of laminated alder and the top is made of laminated spruce. There is no binding on this model, as Squier opted for a bare bones approach. Bridge is made of rosewood and it comes with a standard classic shape and construction. Neck is made of nato wood and it features set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. It comes with a standard number of 19 frets with no inlays. Synthetic bone nut measures at 1.69" of width.
