Classical and flamenco guitars with single cutaway have their own series within the Rodriguez catalog and Caballero 11 Cutaway is one of them. Other than cutaway, there is no difference between this one and Caballero 11 from the Caballero series. Body is made of bubinga back and sides with cedar sound board on top. Top panel features Indian rosewood binding and classical rosette. There is no pickguard installed on this one. L.R. Baggs provides the electronics setup for this model. Under-saddle piezo pickup and side-mounted preamp are installed and driven by a 9v battery. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a regular classical bridge made of rosewood. Mahogany neck is topped with a 19-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard. medium frets, flat radius and 2.08" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard.
