Chrome Bone
DJ Ashba of Guns `n` Roses is one of the signature artists for Ovation Guitars. His line of guitars is placed in a special series named after Mr Ashba. Currently, there are four models in the series and all come with custom graphics, as well as with Ovation`s standard single cut contour. DJA34-CHB comes with Chrome Bone custom graphic, which is finished in high gloss. Due to this graphic, Ovation discards the epaulette. Back and sides are merged into one composite bowl, which is topped with a spruce sound board. Bridge section on this 25-1/4" scaled model is equipped with a standard rosewood bridge. Electronics include Black Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp. Maple neck is set and equipped with V contour. Rosewood fingerboard has 1-11/16" wide synthetic bone nut and 22 frets.
